Not only is this area known for its tree-climbing lions, but also pink flamingoes and great birds of prey. As a result the lodge has a bird theme, shown in such touches as stylish murals which depict bird migration patterns. The circular, closely-thatched rooms were inspired by the traditional Masai ‘boma’ style of construction.
