Nestled on the slopes of Mweiga Hill in the Aberdare Highlands , part of the Greatrift Valley. Abardare Country Club has the charm of a private home combined with the comforts of a country inn. A round of golf with an audience of warthogs is not out of the question and is only two and a half hour drive northeast of Nairobi.
The wildlife sanctuary is brimming with giraffes, zebras, Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles, plus it is home to the reclusive leopard. From the Club’s gardens and pool the setting sun with the Aberdare Mountains as a backdrop, is stunning.
