Following a total redesign and refurbishment, this iconic hotel opened its doors in December 2017. The $11m refurbishment ensured that this much-loved hotel is a spectacular property without equal on the Kenya coast.

It remains a member of the ‘Small Luxury Hotels of the World’, and is part of the Hemingways Collection, it is a luxury property in Watamu Bay, an unrivalled Kenyan setting.

The white sands of the bay and its crystal waters form Kenya’s finest stretch of beach. There are coral reefs to marvel at, the ruins of ancient Gedi to be explored, marlin and sailfish to be caught, and of course, Hemingways in which to be indulged.
