Day 1 – Arrive Dar es Salaam
Met on arrival at Julius Nyerere International Airport, Dar es Salaam by Rove Ventures Representative and transfer to Dar es Salaam Serena Hotel where you have been booked on a bed & breakfast basis.

Day 2 – Dar es Salaam to Arusha onward to Lake Manyara
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Julius Nyerere International Airport for scheduled Flight link flight departing at 1000hrs to arrive Arusha Airport at 1200hrs.
Met on arrival by your dedicated safari driver guide and drive to Lake Manyara to arrive at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge in time for Lunch.
Optional activities available here include: Guided Nature/Bird Walks, Target Curve Archery, Jogging, Mountain Bike Cycling, Swahili and Cooking lessons among others.

Day 3 –Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro Crater
Early Breakfast in the Lodge, depart and drive to Ngorongoro Crater climbing to the altitude of 8,000 feet. Descend to the floor of the crater for game viewing drives. Often described as the ‘Eighth’ wonder of the World, the Ngorongoro crater is so spectacular, a natural sanctuary for over 25,000 animals, including the black rhino.
Ngorongoro crater hot lunch will be served at one of the designated sites on the crater floor. As the sun sets on the western side of the crater rim, ascend and drive to the lodge to refresh for dinner. (Minimum of 8 Pax required for the hot lunch if number is less then guests will have picnic lunch boxes)

The lodge is built onto the rim of this amazing natural phenomenon. A stunning plant and local creeper covered stone lodge where guests co-exist in perfect harmony with the surrounding natural environment and wildlife.

Day 4 – Ngorongoro to Serengeti National park
Breakfast in the Lodge depart and drive to Serengeti with a brief stop at the Olduvai Gorge. Olduvai Gorge the ‘Cradle of Mankind’ is world famous for the Archaeological discoveries made there by Dr. Louis Leakey and Mary Leakey.
Lunch at the Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge.
At 1600hrs depart for an afternoon game drive.

Day 5 – Serengeti National park
Morning and afternoon game viewing drives in the Park. Apart from the Selous, this is the largest of all the Parks in Tanzania, summed up as ‘one of the most unique areas in the world’. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa. During the height of the migration towards the Maasai Mara, there is a huge concentration of plains game in the Reserve, mainly concentrated around the watering places, and with good chances also of seeing the predators at work.

Day 6 –Serengeti to Masai Mara Game Reserve
Breakfast in the Lodge, later you will be transferred to Seronera airstrip for scheduled Auric Air flight departing at 0930hrs to arrive Tarime Airstrip at 1000hrs. Met on arrival and transferred to the Kenya/Tanzania border town of Isebania for Immigration and Customs formalities. Transfer to Migori Airstrip for scheduled Air Kenya flight departing at 1205hrs to arrive Masai Mara at 1225hrs. Met on arrival at the Mara Serena airstrip by your dedicated Safari Driver who will drive to Mara Serena Safari Lodge to arrive in time for lunch. Followed by an afternoon at leisure.
Mara Serena Safari Lodge
Perched on the saddle of a hill, the Mara Serena Safari Lodge has one of the most spectacular views imaginable across the vast plains, forests and rivers that make up the Maasai Mara – one of the world’s richest wildlife sanctuaries. It is on this very terrain that the annual migration takes place when millions of zebra, wildebeest and gazelle cross the plains below, on their way to the rich new grasses of the Serengeti. A spectacle that should be witnessed in one’s life time!
After lunch relax and enjoy the lodge facilities. Enjoy an evening game drive in the reserve returning to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Days 7/8 –Masai Mara Game Reserve
Two full days in the Mara with morning and afternoon game drives in the Reserve at 06:30hrs and 16:00hrs respectively. Certainly the most frequented game reserve in Kenya, Maasai Mara is a magnificent landscape of open plains bisected by the Mara River and its tributaries, and punctuated by marshes and forests. This 650 sq. kilometre reserve supports the highest density of game to be seen anywhere considering its size.

Hippo Pool Breakfast
One of these mornings, crown your game viewing experience with a “Bush Breakfast” by the Mara River Hippo Pools! One cannot resist the charming “Jambo” from the chefs and Masai warriors as they welcome you to our wonderfully set breakfast buffet of cold cuts, fruits, cereals and hot dishes with eggs made to your specifications as you wait. The hippos keep you company and only say “Kwaheri” (good bye) after you have had enough.

Day 9 –Masai to Lake Elmenteita
0700hrs after breakfast, depart and drive to Kenya’s Rift Valley region to Soysambu Conservancy.
Lunch at Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp followed by an afternoon at leisure. 1600hrs Game drive or in the Conservancy.
Other optional activities available include: –
Escorted Nature/Bird Walk Recurve Target Archery activities, Water Colour painting, Jogging/Walking, Swahili lessons among others.

Day 10 – Lakes Elmenteita
Full day in the Conservancy with morning and afternoon game drive in the Soysambu Wildlife Conservancy or you may opt for an escorted Nature/Bird Walk.
Cliff-top Sundowners
Few experiences rival the glory of sunset over Africa, especially when the scene is set amidst an amphitheater of hills and enhanced by a selection of refreshments. Guests may choose to enjoy an evening game drive before arriving at the panoramic cliff-top site or make way to the site just before the sun makes its descent.

Day 11 – Departure
Breakfast in the Camp, Later depart and drive to Nairobi, drop off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled home-bound International flight.
An Option of extension to the beach to either Mombasa or Diani (Can be tailored as per your needs).
